I am a mechanical engineer with interest in technology, rural livelihoods, renewable energy and wildlife conservation. For a brief period back in 2015-16, I have worked on popularising use of electric two wheelers in Hubli by opening a showroom.

I currently work as a technology consultant for conservation organisations (Nature Conservation Foundation, Wildlife Research and Conservation Society) in developing and monitoring an early warning system to mitigate crop depredation by elephants for small holding farmers.

I also contribute to citizen science intiatives (eBird, iNaturalist, xenocanto) in documenting biodiversity around me, and enjoy running (13 half marathons) to keep myself focused and fit.
